Lutendo Malatji

It’s always a great satisfaction when you realized that a new inspired artist has been met between hundreds of thousands profiles available on the web.
The new finding always pays off for all the efforts: months of researches and visualizations, time spent roaming in billions of bytes that transfers emotions from one side of the world to anywhere a connection is available.

Lutendo comes from South Africa and his work is mainly focused on telling the others how life is in his neighborhood and surrounding areas, giving an exact image of his contry’s nowadays reality.

From the “western” influenced fashion style, to the street gangs, passing through ancient rituals of colorfull Zulu weddings up to the mischievous evil spirit that terrorized little girls represented in the Pinky-Pinky project.

His works allows us to be witnesses of his world, not only through the images, but also with the capability of letting us feel and smell his reality.

As usual, this web album is simply a summary of Lutendo Malatji’s production, which is available on the web on his page.
